About the Band
 Legacy has drawn the enthusiastic attention of Irish traditional music fanatics all across the South and Southwest. The band appears a tight, powerhouse trio, a full band of five, and even as a seven-piece when their favorite guest musicians and dancers are invited! Legacy draws its core members from the most accomplished Celtic musicians in the region. Legacy are in the top flight of regional bands performing music from the Irish tradition; their loyal following is both well-earned and deserved. Their skill is undeniable, their arrangements are complex and challenging, and their performances are tight and energetic.
Legacy performs an extensive repertoire of traditional and original Irish music and song. Performances from as brief as a few minutes to 4 hours can be tailored to varying audiences and functions. Also, Legacy especially enjoys performing for traditional Irish dance events (i.e., ceilis) either as a band or, at times, in concert with other traditional Celtic musicians. In most circumstances, Legacy can arrange to have an Irish step-dancer(s) perform.
Additionally, Legacy's members are experienced at conducting instructional workshops on their art. Recently, Legacy has conducted workshops sponsored by the Southwest Celtic Music Association (Dallas), Big Plain Records (Houston), the Austin Celtic Festival (Austin), The Bedford Celtic Heritage Festival (Bedford), and CelticFest Mississippi (Jacks on).
